The first ever NBA in-season tournament is scheduled from November 3 to December 9 during the 2023-24 NBA regular season.
The tourney features all 30 NBA teams competing in the regular season games that count towards their standings in the in-season. Each conference is divided into three groups with five teams each.
Their regular season games on Tuesdays and Fridays from November 3 to 28 count in the in-season and the regular-season standings. Eight out of 30 teams qualify for the knockout rounds from December 3 to 9.
The NBA in-season tournament 2023 will feature a new trophy, the NBA Cup, for the champion in addition to $500,000 of prize money for each champion team player.
The entire in-season tournament games are scheduled to be televised nationally through TNT on Tuesdays, ESPN on Fridays, and NBA TV on November 24 (two games).

Ryan Ruocco
The American radio and television sportscaster Ryan Ruocco is the play-by-play announcer for the NBA in-season tournament games on Fridays on ESPN.
While primarily calling ESPN's NBA coverage since 2008, Ryan has been serving as the network's WNBA coverage commentator since 2013.
The Fishkill, New York native Ruocco is the play-by-play announcer for the college football and NFL on ESPN Radio in addition to his NBA career. Also, he has been serving as a commentator for a long time for YES Network alongside his ESPN duties.
Ryan is the chief play-by-play commentator in the Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees and Brooklyn Nets. For his Nets and Yankees coverage on YES in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019, Ruocco earned the New York Emmy nominations.

Breen is the chief announcer for the Saturday Primetime and NBA Finals on ABC. He has been calling play-by-play on ESPN since his debut with Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson in 2003.
Before joining ESPN, Breen served 12 seasons for NBC and MSG radio and television network as an NBA play-by-play commentator. He called the Knicks games on the MSG network.
To emphasize his broadcasting career and his importance to the basketball community, Mike was awarded the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame's Curt Gowdy Media Award in 2020.

Ian Eagle
The Miami, Florida native sports announcer, Ian Eagle, will call the NBA in-season tournament games on Tuesdays on TNT. He is the 2013, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2019 New York Sportscaster of the Year.
He serves as the play-by-play voice for the NBA's Brooklyn Nets on Yes Network, National Football League, and college basketball on CBS alongside his TNT duties.
Eagle was named the National Sportscaster of the Year for the first time on 26 June 2023 by the National Sports Media Association.

The Texas native sportscaster, Brian Anderson, serves as a play-by-play announcer for the NBA games on TNT. He is scheduled to call TNT's Tuesday night coverage of the NBA in-season tournament games.
The NBA in-season announcer calls the NCAA tournament basketball for WBD Sports and MLB games for TBS alongside his NBA duties on TNT.
Also, Anderson announces the NCAA basketball regular season for the Big Ten Network and Fox Sports, along with "The Match" golf franchise for TNT.

NBA In Season Schedule For Announcers
The NBA in-season tournament games are scheduled to be broadcast on regional networks, with TNT, ESPN, and NBA TV telecasting select games nationally.
Out-of-market games not broadcast nationally can be accessed on NBA League Pass. TNT, ESPN, and ABC will broadcast the knockout stages of the tournament.
TNT is set to air all four quarterfinals on December 4 and 5, along with the late semifinal on December 7.
ESPN will air the early semifinal and three consolation games on December 7 and December 6 and 8, respectively. The in-season tournament final is scheduled for December 9 on ABC.
