NBA 2K24 Brickley Gym Closed issue can be resolved after you make a 60 OVR build and try 5 foul shots in MyCareer. Then, the gym will give you a walk-in option.

While official game developers haven't offered solutions, users have shared their success in accessing the gym on social media.

NBA 2K24 was released worldwide on 8th September and has already run into server issues and bugs. After the game was released, many players reported issues and errors regarding the server connectivity.

The Brickley Gym is where the users can have training practice regarding shooting and other skills to gain the badges and points regarding their individual player growth.

It is one of the three quests users have to access to unlock the Mamba Mentality in NBA 2K24, including complete 3v3 and 5v5 scrimmages. 

Why is Brickley Gym Closed 2K24?

2k24 Brickley Gym is closed due to server bugs that restricted the users from getting inside the gym where they can unlock the Mamba Mentality perk.

Brickley Gym is a key location in the NBA 2K24 video game which offers the players the opportunity to grow and grind their skills and attributes regarding the game. 

Unlocking the closed Brickley gym is crucial if the users want to have the Accelerator perk benefits, which help boost your player's development.

As soon as the game was launched recently, many users faced the error and asked why the Brickley gym was closed. There has been no official solution announced to this problem in the game. 

However, some users shared their way of getting into the Gym through their social media handles. This might be helpful for the NBA 2K24 users.

Here are the steps to get into the Brickley Gym as mentioned by the NBA 2K Intel on their Twitter handle:

  1. You should first start to make a new build with a 60 Overall build with the recommended height of 7 feet and 3 inches for a player.
  2. Inside the "MyCareer Mode," you need to locate the Brickley Gym which is found near the Take Over area inside the mode.
  3. After loading into your MyCareer, you need to shoot at least 5 shots and then foul out. You don't have to make the shots but just need to have 5 and fouled out intentionally.
  4. After fouling out, you can head to the Brickley gym with your newly 60 OVR player where the gym will let you enter inside.
  5. If it won't let you enter, consider deleting your build and creating your new ones with the 60 OVR with the different stats. It won't work for the same stats.
  6. Sometimes, creating a new player with unique stats can trigger the gym's opening.

After unlocking the gym, the users can have the Accelerator Pack through training which is considered a valuable achievement for any NBA 2K24 player. 

When Does Brickley Gym Open 2k24?

Brickley Gym opens from Monday to Thursday for 3v3 scrimmages and Friday to Sunday for 5v5 scrimmages. 

Brickley Gym is a training facility for basketball players in NBA 2K24 where your player can grind his skills and earn the Mamba Mentality Badge. 

The gym is located in the South City Vipers in The City mode and is open from 9 AM to 9 PM. It is one of the quests to be completed to unlock the Mamba Mentality badge. 

You can compete in 3v3 and 5v5 for the decelerator quest at the Brickley Gym and also the second chance quest. The second chance quest will award you a combination of 50 points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, and Steals at the gym.

However, after the game launch, some players reported that the gym was closed and inaccessible due to the game bug sending them into the Xbox by the exit.

NBA 2K24 Mamba Mentality

NBA 2K24 Mamba Mentality perk replaces the player's doubles and boosts all categories after it is unlocked and activated.

It is one of the first quests players receive in the MyCareer mode in the game. There are some steps and rules to follow while completing the quest to earn the perk.

For to complete the NBA 2K24 Mamba Mentality Quest, one should complete those mentioned quests which are unique to each other. Here are those quests:

  1. Decelerator Quest at Chris Brickley's Gym - Compete 3v3 and 5v5 scrimmages
  2. Second Chance Quest at Chris Brickley's Gym - Earn a combination of 50 points + Rebounds + Assists + Blocks + Steals
  3. Minimizer Quest at the Art of Shooting Facility - Earn 3 Stars in Art of Shooting Gym

Once these are accomplished, the player will unlock the Mamba Mentality Quest. These quests get unlocked after you play your first three Key games in MyCareer mode. 

Decelerator Quest at Chris Brickley's Gym

In order to complete the quest, the player must visit the gym and compete in a 3v3 followed by a 5v5 scrimmage. Some familiar faces will be your teammates and opponents in both rounds.

  • 750 VC

NBA 2K24 Minimizer Quest

To complete the Minimizer Quest, players must head towards the Art of Shooting facility. There they will enjoy the Art of Shooting drills and will have to earn the 3 stars by playing with perfection.

It is to be noted that the Art of Shooting will be available only once per week.

NBA 2K24 Second Chance Quest

In order to complete this quest, the player must head back to the gym and then they have to get 50 combined points including rebounds, assists, blocks, and steals.

It offers the following rewards:

Once you accomplish all these quests, you will complete the Mamba Mentality Quest to unlock and activate the perk which guides in boosting all the attributes categories.
