Three months prior to his remarkable 100-point game, he established an NBA record by scoring 78 points in a game where his team suffered a loss to the Lakers.

Furthermore, Chamberlain pulled two 73-point games in 1962. One at the start of the year in January against the Chicago Packers and the other in November against the New York Knicks.

Three years later, in a matchup against the Orlando Magic, MJ poured in 64 points, his second-highest in a single game ever. Although the Bulls lost the game 128-124, he attempted 49 shots and connected on 27, including 1-of-5 from three-point range.

Chef Curry showed his dominance by making 18 out of 31 shots, hitting 8 out of 16 three-pointers, and making 18 out of 19 free throws. He did something no one had done since Kobe Bryant in 2005, i.e., scoring 30 points or more in both halves of a game.

Plus, the four-time NBA champ surpassed his highest score ever, beating his previous record of 54 points from a game against the Knicks in 2013.

The New York Times commended him highly, noting that his 62-point game silenced his critics.
