Clippers In Season Tournament Court features a vibrant and bold color like that of a beer can. The neon puke shade of each color is a distinct feature.

The In Season Tournament court for the Los Angeles Clippers features a unique design scheme. The court is edge-to-edge painted with a contrasting wash of color from lane to lane, forming a 16-foot wide runway across the court.

A larger-than-life NBA Cup stands in the center of the court, displaying to players and fans the new trophy that will be awarded to the champion.

The Clippers logo is prominently displayed across the NBA trophy at the center court and on the baselines, and NBA Cup silhouettes are also featured in the lanes.

However, the Los Angeles Clippers court has drawn some criticism and consternation due to the presence of a trophy at half court, even though the Clippers have never won an NBA championship.

Court Design For Clippers In Season Tournament

The Los Angeles Clippers revealed their Mardi Gras court design for the upcoming NBA tournament. The logo is noticeably displayed in the middle of the court.

The design is primarily purple without the visible natural wood grain color. The center of the court is purple from end to end, with a gold fleur-de-lis on top.

The court is entirely painted with no wood grain details. This results in a more consistent and modern appearance. A 16 feet lane from end to end in a contrasting wash of color is a new feature for the In-Season Tournament.

This lane is intended to make the playing surface more dynamic and exciting. Another new feature for the In Season Tournament is the NBA championship outline in the lanes.

In the middle of the court, there is also a unique Clippers-themed wordmark and logo. An L.A.-based contemporary artist and Clippers season ticket holder Jonas Wood, created the wordmark.

The design "i" honors classic Clipper wordmarks and features Wood's signature basketball illustration seamlessly combined with the Clipper's secondary logo.

These outlines are intended to add a visual element to the court while also assisting players in tracking their positioning.
