SEC Network Basketball Analysts And Announcers

SEC Network basketball analysts are Andraya Carter, Dave Baker and Daymeon Fishback. SEC broadcasts over 100 games every year.

The network covers sports events and news related to the Southeastern Conference (SEC) colleges. It includes live and recorded telecasts, analysis programs and other content that focuses on the schools that are conference members.

With an estimated 70 million subscribers, it is the largest sports network exclusively covering collegiate sports.

SEC Commissioner Michael Slive and ESPN President John Skipper made a formal announcement in 2013 as part of a long-term 20-year agreement lasting until 2034.

PlayStation Vue and Sling TV both carry the SEC Network. SEC Network was launched in Mexico outside of the United States in 2017.

Dave Neal has been a play-by-play commentator for the SEC network since 2014.

Tom Hart currently works as a play-by-play announcer for the SEC Network. He joined SEC Saturday Night, the franchise that features the SEC Network marquee college football game every Saturday in 2017.

Hart also worked as a play-by-play announcer for ABC and ESPN XFL coverage in 2020. In 2023, he returned to the XFL alongside Cubelic, Greg McElroy, and Katie George.

He is also the lead play-by-play announcer for regular-season college baseball and SEC Network NCAA basketball. Also, he is one of the leading voices on ESPN College World Series coverage.

Hart also calls select MLB, NCAA football, and NBA games for ESPN Radio, and he occasionally guest-hosts "The Paul Finebaum Show" and College Football Live.

Dave Neal joined ESPN as a play-by-play commentator in 2009 and was among the first SEC Network commentators when it debuted in 2014. Neal covered the SEC for Fox Sports Net (FSN) and Raycom Sports from 1995 to 2009.

The two-time Emmy Award winner is currently calling college football, basketball, and baseball games for ESPN. Neal hosted SEC-TV, a weekly program featuring SEC athletics, in addition to his play-by-play duties.

Before the launch of SEC Network, he co-anchored the conference-syndicated Saturday game. His work credit includes play-by-play for FCS National Championships, multiple post-season bowl games, NIT tournaments, and CWS regional and super regional games.

Former SEC basketball players like Dane Bradshaw and Tony Delk now work as analysts for the network. Pat Bradley joined the SEC Network in 2016 as a studio and in-game analyst and frequently appears on SEC Now.

1. Dave Baker

Dave Baker is an SEC basketball broadcast team member for Men and Women's games for ESPNU and the SEC Network. He has become a fixture in SEC basketball since he began calling play-by-play for SEC games in 1991.

Additionally, he has been a sports anchor, reporter, and account executive at WKYT since 1982. He also does play-by-play for a variety of UK basketball telecasts. 

From 1991 to 2009, he worked for Raycom Sports as a contributor, sideline reporter, and play-by-play announcer for SEC basketball games. For the 2009 and 2010 seasons, he hosted "SEC Tailgate" on the CBS College Sports Network and hosted "The Dave Baker Show".

2. Barry Booker

According to his CBS News profile, Booker was a standout guard for Vanderbilt during his college years in the late 1980s. He has worked as a basketball analyst for several networks, including ESPN and CBS Sports.

For the past seven years, he has been an analyst for Jefferson Pilot Sports SEC basketball broadcasts. He has also worked for Fox Sports South and local television broadcasts for Vanderbilt University in Nashville.

He contributed to the Commodores back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances (1988 and 1989). He also owns the SEC career three-point percentage record (46%).

3. Will Perdue

Will Perdue is a Westwood One Sports analyst for NCAA Basketball and the NCAA Tournament. He played on three NBA championship teams, two with the Chicago Bulls (1991-1993) and one with the San Antonio Spurs (1999).

4. Peter Burns

Peter Burns joined SEC Network in August 2014 as a studio host, hosting the news and information show on SEC Now. Burns hosts SEC Now both in-studio and on the road, covering live events across all sports across the SEC.

In addition to his television responsibilities, Burns is a national radio host for ESPN Radio and co-host of SEC "This Morning on SiriusXM" SEC Radio.

Burns hosted The Press Box on Mile High Sports Radio in Denver before joining the 24-channel dedicated to the Southeastern Conference.

5. Jon Sundvold

Former University of Missouri All-American and nine-year NBA veteran Jon Sundvold joined ESPN as a Men college basketball analyst in 1994. He has continued to cover college basketball games for the network as an SEC Network analyst.

His broadcasting career began at the University of Missouri, where he provided analysis for radio broadcasts of basketball games from 1992 to 1994.

6. Andraya Carter

Andraya Carter is an analyst and reporter for ESPN/SEC Network coverage of college basketball, football, and the WNBA. She previously co-hosted "Out of Pocket" with Alyssa Lang until 2023.

As of October 2016, Bradley has worked as a basketball commentator for the SEC ESPN Network. He also co-hosts a radio show on ESPN affiliate 103.7 FM “Little Rock”.

He was named All-SEC in 1997 and 1998. With 1,765 points he ranks fifth on Arkansas career scoring list after leading the Razorbacks in scoring for three consecutive seasons.

Bradley held the SEC record for career three-pointers made until 2008 and he is still in the top five all-time. He also held the SEC record for the most consecutive games with at least one three-pointer made (60) until 2013.

He is one of only two players in school history to have led the team in three-pointers made for four years.

Dane Bradshaw joined the SEC Network Men's basketball coverage in 2014 as a studio and game analyst.

The former Tennessee captain was a point guard before moving forward for the Volunteers from 2004 to 2007. He was known for his ball-handling abilities and assists as well as helping the Vols defeat a ranked Florida team.

Despite missing most of the season due to a wrist injury, Bradshaw was second on the team with more than 100 assists his junior year.

Tony Delk is an NBA ten-year veteran who is now a sports commentator. Delk was hired as an in-studio analyst and announcer for the upcoming college basketball season by the SEC Network in October 2014.

His background as a former SEC basketball player for the University of Kentucky and his NBA career has established him as a prominent figure in the basketball world.

His firsthand knowledge of the game enables him to provide insightful analysis of players, strategies, and the state of SEC basketball.

Daymeon Fishback is a former SEC champion and Auburn University basketball captain. He joined ESPN in 2014 as an SEC Network game and studio analyst.

He has also worked as a color analyst for Fox Sports South and the Auburn Network. Previously, he was drafted into the NBA Development League and played professionally in Italy, Yugoslavia, and France.

On the 13th of September 2021, ESPN hired Patric Young as a studio host for the SEC Network college basketball coverage.
