NBA 2k24 REC difficulty is right between the Superstar and Hall of Fame. It is also somewhere between All Star and Superstar, or closer to Superstar.

The basketball video game series was released on 8th September 2023 all across the United States and the world with its enhanced graphics and improved gameplay experience.

The games nowadays provide several gameplay difficulty options that you can master in order to reach the top level.

Unlike EA FC and PES, which include difficulties like Amateur, Beginner, Intermediate, Professional, and Legendary, the NBA 2K24 also has added gameplay difficulty like in previous versions.

Every difficulty has several effects on your gameplay and your MyCareer playthrough in the game. Accessing the rec mode also creates certain difficulty modes which might be somewhere between the Superstar and the Hall of Fame, the maximum difficulty level.

Moreover, the Rec mode is fun to enjoy with your friends with the new updates incoming including the bigger rec courts and newly added uniform designs.

What Difficulty Is 2K24 Rec?

Rec difficulty 2K24 is somewhere closer to the Superstar difficulty level almost reaching HOF.

The Rec mode is all about the team gameplay and is fun to enjoy game time with friends, including an in-game talk.

Every game mode has its game difficulties that the users should master to have better gameplay.

Unlike in other modes, the Rec mode difficulty is also adjusted around somewhere between All-Star and the Hall of Fame.

It is a 3v3 or 5v5 pickup game mode with the "No Squads" option added. The option allows you to go solo and find the proper teammates who can have real online players in your team.

You can have difficulty in finding your perfect squad to play in the Rec game mode. In addition, the gameplay is also somehow set in the fourth difficulty level to the maximum difficulty level.

The All-Star, Superstar, and Hall of Fame gradually build on the difficulty where the former players can also give challenge to a returning player.

NBA 2K24 Rec offers difficulty levels starting from the All-Star, which is more difficult than the Pro. To be an expert, strategize your team and gameplay to create the best lineup.

The Superstar is considered only if you can exaggerate your exceptional basketball skills on the court, like scoring high points, excelling in several assists, or being a defensive specialist.

Your opponents and teammates' AIs are all adjusted as per their difficulty level so you should bring out the best in you and grind to progress in rec mode.

The maximum level, HOF is dedicated to the seasoned veteran players only in rec. You should always strive to do your best to overcome this difficult level, as it is one of the most challenging levels in the game.

Here is how VC and MyPoints scale with the difficulty level in Rec in MyCareer:

  • Rookie – 30 percent of VC and MyPOINTS
  • Semi-Pro – 60 percent of VC and MyPOINTS
  • Pro – 100 percent of VC and MyPOINTS
  • All-Star – 120 percent of VC and MyPOINTS
  • Superstar – 140 percent of VC and MyPOINTS
  • Hall of Fame – 160 percent of VC and MyPOINTS

With the latest changes in the Rec, you can have fun on the court without worrying about the poor matchmaking in the game.

With the courts being bigger than before, the new version also comes up with new arena designs, crowds, and uniforms, such as Laker's gold and purple jerseys honoring the late Kobe Bryant.

How To Fix NBA 2k24 Jumpshot Timing?

Fix your NBA 2K24 Jumpshot timing by first creating a custom jumpshot and then adjusting its shot meter and the visual cue.

First, you need to know about your matched jumpshot base and its release point as they affect the shot timing and speed.

To access the jumpshot creator, you need to:

  • Go to MyCareer
  • Go to MyPlayer
  • Select Animations
  • Select Jump Shot Creator

Second, after you create your custom jumpshot, you need to adjust the shot meter and then the shot feedback settings as per your preference.

The shot meter shows you when to release the button and the feedback shows you how well you timed your shot. You can also change these settings by following the steps:

  • Go to MyCareer Menu
  • Go to Options
  • Go to Controller Settings
  • Go to Shot Meter and choose between Off, On, or Free Throw Only
  • Choose between All Shots in Shot feedback.

Third, you should practice your jumpshot timing in several situations such as catch and shoot, fade away, and dribble pull-up.

You can also use the 2KU mode to practice your shooting skills but should be aware of the jumpshot timing such as distance, defense, stamina, and adrenaline.

Fourth, you need to find the best suit visual cue for your jumpshot timing. The visual is the indicator that tells you the time to release the shot button. You can have these options such as Release, Jump, Setpoint, and Push in the controller settings.

You can fix your jumpshot timing with the best visual cue available but it depends on your personal preference and your jumpshot animation.
