When will the Intuit Dome open? Intuit Dome is set to open at the end of October 2024 before the 2024-25 NBA season. It will be the LA Clippers new home.

It is a privately funded indoor arena that will operate in Inglewood, California, possibly in time for the 2024-25 season. It is located south of SoFi Stadium.

The arena will be the home to the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Clippers. Currently, the LA Clippers play their home games at the Crypto arena, about 11 miles northeast of the Dome.

The Dome construction began with a groundbreaking ceremony on 17 September 2021 with an expected cost of about $2 billion.

Steve Ballmer, the Clippers' current owner, saw the need for the team to have their own home after sharing a facility in a town leaning heavily towards the NHL's LA Lakers. Intuit owns the arena's naming rights, while AECOM is the lead design partner.

With a field size of about 915,000 sq ft, this basketball-obsessed venue is set to feature five full-size courts and 51 uninterrupted rows in The Wall.

Intuit Dome Bag Policy

Intuit Dome bag policy states no hard-size bags, purses, or backpacks larger than 14 x 14 x 6 inches. Wallets smaller than 5 x 9 x 1 inches are permitted.

The LA Clippers new arena, Intuit Dome, will feature the largest-ever double-sided halo display in a venue setting at almost a full acre (38,375 square feet). The roof is designed to acclimate the unique Halo Board, prioritizing the upper-bowl seats' viewing escapade.

The bag policy across the NBA varies per arena, with the implementation of each team's regulations set for their respective home venues. In general, NBA arenas enforce a strict limit on permissible bags within the facility.

Some establishments implement a no-bag policy, while most allow bags or backpacks smaller than 14 x 14 x 6 inches into the arena. Since the Intuit Dome opening date is set ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season, speculation can only be made on its bag policy.

As per the LA Clippers' current venue, Crypto.com Arena's bag policy, no bags, purses, backpacks, drawstring bags, or wallets are allowed within the facility. The permissible clutches or wallets should be smaller than 5 x 9 x 1 inches.

The Intuit Dome, being of a similar size, can be thought to implement an equivalent bag policy to regulate a secure and safe environment for its guests. In addition, the arena will permit diaper and medical bags smaller than 14 x 14 x 6 inches after screening inside the establishment.

One diaper bag per child is permissible, while camera bags, fanny packs, clear bags, and totes are restricted within the arena. Also, the permissible medical bags should be passed through the metal detectors and visually screened before entry.

Intuit Dome Other Policies

Intuit Dome implements security guidelines like a no-bag policy and a cashless venue. Outside food and beverages are restricted within the facility.

This futuristic arena is set to be a fully cash-free venue, accepting credit and debit cards only for payments. The facility will feature mobile and major contactless payment methods for a speedy and safe checkout.

Guests with no accepted cashless payment method are facilitated with free-of-charge "Cash to Card" conversion booths throughout the arena.
