Will Avery, Assistant Coach

Jai Lucas is one of the Duke assistant basketball coaches alongside Carrawell whose projected earning in 2023 is around $450,000 annually.
The University of Kentucky paid him $300,000 per year which he left in 2022. They replaced him with K.T Turner from Oklahoma who will be paid $500,000 annually, 67% higher than Lucas.
Leaving his duties as an assistant coach for Kentucky, he joined Duke as an assistant coach in May 2022 and was promoted to associate head coach in June 2023.

The current Duke basketball coach, Jon Scheyer joined the Blue Devils as a replacement for long-term former basketball manager Mike Krzyzewski who served for 42 seasons.

Among the 21 coaches in the program's history, Mike Krzyzewski is considered the most famous Duke coach in history.
Duke paid him $13.7 million annual pay as his salary before his retirement after the 2021-2022 season. The manager served more than 42 seasons with the Blue Devils as a head coach since 1980.
In 2021-2022, he earned more than $12.5 million in reportable compensation from 1st July through 30th June 2021 as per the University tax returns.

Duke Womens Basketball Coach
Kara Lawson is set to make approximately $500,000 annually as the head coach of the Duke Women's basketball team.
Lawson is a former WNBA and Olympic champion and is the sixth Women's basketball coach to join Duke. She came on board for the team on 11th July 2020.
She led the Blue Devils to their best 2023 season as Duke finished with a 26-7 overall record featuring a 14-4 mark and second place finish in ACC play following a second round of the NCAA tournament.
The 2021-2022 season saw Lawson lead the Duke team to a 17-13 overall record featuring top 25 victories over Iowa on 2nd December and Notre Dame on 2nd January 2022.
Besides Duke, Lawson also was selected as the assistant coach on Cheryl Reeve's staff for the US Women's National Team competed in the 2022 FIFA Women's World Cup leading to a gold medal.
