Max and Sydney had kept their relationship private until June 23, 2022, when they appeared together in a public event for the first time.
The couple was together during the NBA Draft 2022 as Christie was one of the top prospects in the draft. As a result, he was selected in the second round as the 32nd overall pick.
After Max was drafted, they shared a warm embrace with a hug as Sydney congratulated the love of her life for his ultimate success. Following the event, they celebrated together for the next chapter of their lives.

On September 3, the couple went on a vacation in Los Angeles.

Max and his girlfriend went to the NBA game between the Pacers and the Lakers on February 3.
It was a game between her home team and her dream team. The match didn't disappoint as the Lakers edged a single-point lead, finishing the game with a 112-111 scoreline.
