Biggest NBA parade in history are Cleveland Cavaliers with 1.3 million, Toronto Raptors with 2 million and Chicago Bulls with 1.1 million people.

The NBA parade has a huge gathering of fans who are present to show their love and support for their team. These parades were all celebrations of historic championships for their respective teams.

The gathering for the 2019 NBA Championship of Toronto Raptors has an estimated people of two million. Also, the 2015 - 2016 season Cleveland Cavaliers championship was recorded with a lot of fans to show their support towards the players.

The Toronto Raptors victory parade is masked as one of the greatest parade in NBA history. Since it was the first Canadian team to win the NBA championship.

The exact attendance of the people might vary according to the news source or website. The admirers gather to celebrate with music, drinks and many other forms of entertainment. The parade unites fans and players while motivating them to win more titles.

1. Toronto Raptors - 2 Million

Toronto Raptors victory parade was attended by more than 2 million people in 2019. It was the Raptors' first NBA championship in their franchise's history.

At 10 AM on June 17, 2019, from the Princes Gates located on the Exhibition Place grounds the parade began. And ended at Nathan Phillips Square for a celebration rally.

The gathering featured the Raptors players, coaches and staff riding on double-decker buses. The event was also extravagant because of speeches from players and coaches along with many performances from various celebrities and dignitaries.

The Eastern Conference champion Toronto Raptors emerge victorious against the two-time defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors with a final scoreboard of 109 - 118 points. Kawhi Leonard was the final MVP of the game.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers - 1.3 Million

Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA championship defeating the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James was named the Finals MVP.

The game was the Cleveland Cavaliers first NBA championship in franchise history. It was the game that ended Cleveland's 52-year sports drought and resulted in a massive Cleveland NBA parade of 1.3 million fans. 

The parade took place on June 22, 2016, which was the most massive gathering in Ohio history.

According to The New York Times, the ceremony started from the Quicken Loans Arena and wrapped around the Indians Progressive Field, headed up East Ninth Street, turned down East Lakeside and ended at the Cleveland Mall.

It lasted over four hours and legendary players such as Jim Brown, Bernie Kosar and Earnest Byner were present. Along with that the Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer, the Buckeyes’ and the marching band were also there to support the players.

3. Chicago Bulls - 1.1 Million

Chicago Bulls led by Michael Jordan won the first NBA championship in 1991. The parade had approximately 1.1 million admires.

The gathering began at Grant Park which featured their players, coaching staff and other celebrities. Around 554 police officers were assigned to maintain the parade which was also not enough.

The victory of the Bulls left an important mark and it began a new dynasty that would go on with six NBA championships in eight years. The parade ended at the Chicago Stadium after their victory rally for their fans.

Michael Jordan averaged 31.2 points, 6.6 rebounds and 11.4 assists in the final game. Michael became the first Final MVP in his career during this game. The Bulls won the final with a scoreboard of 108 - 101 defeating the Lakers.

4. Los Angeles Lakers - 1 Million

Los Angeles Lakers had one of the biggest NBA finals parade after their championship in 2000. The event took place on July 21, 2000.

The Lakers defeated the Indiana Pacers in six games with the final scoreboard of 116 - 114 points. The team was led by Shaquille O'Neal who managed to average 38 points, 16.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game in the Finals.

O'Neal became the Finals MVP in this game which was the first for his career.

For the celebration of the victory the city of Los Angeles organized the parade on June 19, 2000. It is estimated that more than a million people joined the parade to celebrate the Laker’s first championship since 1988.

The parade kicked off at the Staples Center with the team riding floats down Figueroa Street, taking a turn onto Olympic Boulevard and Spring Street, before successfully concluding at City Hall.

5. Boston Celtics - 1 Million

Boston Celtics 2008 NBA championship parade was organized on June 19, 2008. It was their first championship since 1986.

According to ESPN, their victorious parade began from TD Bank North Garden which would travel through downtown to Copley Square. The parade was also broadcast on a Jumbotron in Copley Square and Boston Common which was watched by millions of fans.

The parade also featured floats from other local sports teams the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.

The Celtics were led by the Big Three Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen who created a massive dominance in the game for the win.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Los Angeles Lakers with the final scoreboard of 131 - 92. Paul Pierce was awarded the MVP of the game. It was their first NBA title in the past 22 years.

6. Golden State Warriors - 900 Thousand

Golden State Warriors had their extravagant parade on June 20, 2022, after being the winner of the 2022 NBA championship trophy.

More than 900 thousand people were estimated to visit the parade that happened in San Francisco. The event began at the intersection of Main Street and Market Street and proceeded westbound on Market Street after turning onto 8th Street and ended at Civic Center Plaza.

The Golden State Warriors claimed the NBA championship after defeating the Boston Celtics in six games and the final scoreboard being 103-90.

San Antonio Spurs had a warrior victory parade after winning the NBA championship in 2005. Tim Duncan was the Final MVP of the game.

The Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs played the Eastern Conference champion Detroit Pistons and defeated them with the final scoreboard of 98-88 points. The television rights were given to ABC and National radio coverage was provided by ESPN Radio.
