The present Women's Classic is set to be broadcast on ABC and ESPN, featuring matchups between six elite programs of the nation on Sunday, December 3, at campus sites.

The 2023 Jimmy V Men's Classic doubleheader is scheduled at Madison Square Garden on a Tuesday night. ESPN will exclusively broadcast the matchups at respective times.

The matchup will feature a rivalry between UConn and UNC for the first time since 2005. The Huskies will make their fifth appearance in the Classic to fend off their national title this season.

For the 2023-24 season, ESPN has slotted three of the four partaking teams in their Way-Too-Early Top 25 rankings, with Huskies and Owls in the top 10 and Tar Heels at No. 15.

The Jimmy V Classic MSG will be hosting the event for the 20th time in December. Before the Garden, the matchups were held at Meadowlands Arena in New Jersey from 1995 to 2002.
